Zohra Roy

Events/Diversity Director

Zohra Roy leads Product Marketing and Communications at Logical Buildings, an industry-leading sustainability, smart building, and virtual powerplant software and solutions provider. Her work empowers building owners/operators and small energy users to reduce their carbon footprint and earn revenue through utility-driven demand response programs. 

For the past 10 years, she has led and managed digital strategy and creative execution for various sustainability startups, large biotech manufacturers, and pharmaceutical companies. She also worked on the largest non-utility solar PV power purchase agreement east of the Mississippi River (at the time of its conception) with Duke Energy Renewables and other large institutions in the DC area. 

She was born and raised in NYC and has seen the impacts of climate change firsthand during her professional and academic endeavors in various regions of the world—including Southeast Asia, North Africa, The Caribbean, and South America. She holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Policy & Sustainability Management from The New School and a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health and Sustainability from George Washington University. In her free time, she serves as a Board Member for her local community garden in Brooklyn and enjoys spending time in nature with her dog, swimming, and playing tennis.
